Christian Wrestling is an interesting subject, someone should make a tread about it. I think I'll attend a few shows the group I was talking about is having. (I've been out of the local wrestling loop long enough that I can go to shows with out being recognized)
Inspite of being a Christian, my wrestling characters is usually a bad guy who sometimes cusses. I don't have a problem with it, because when I'm wrestling I'm playing a fictional character. Of course a lot of religious people wouldn't see things that way.

But, you see that is the beautiful thing about wrestling. It goes hand in hand with religion.
The eternal battle between good versus evil, right versus wrong, the difference being the used stones and spears we use chairs and barbwire.
Heels at Christian wrestling shows have the easiest times getting over and to the fans it is that much sweeter when the heel gets what is coming to him.

That's true. The problem is that in a Christian show it would be almost morally imperative that the heel loses almost every match. I don't mind losing, but it seems like it would be way too predictable.

But that is the condition of fallen humanity.

That's true, when I was working on some of the storyline one of our main heels was almost drooling about what he was going to do to get over the crowd. The premise would be at the beginning of the show have the main face give his testimony and he would start heckling him, it would just snowball from there.

Heck i just noticed i did not introduce my self my wrestling name is (RAZZ) i worked for 2 random promotions out of Canada one was RCW and the other was AWF Roughly 7-10 years i have spent in the industry in what most would call the position of the owners helper for eatch respective fed.
common tasks i have done for feds included finding ways to transport the ring ticket sales posters and promotional getting stuff to give away at shows autograph sessions for the fans to meet the boys and girls bookings hum dvd making and filming of events working security taking pictures at events (200-300 a show) finding people to invest in to web advertiseing for events and or ring adverts ring crew setup and take down of events worked with the media (newspaper) to give them the story on what happened during events in my area that i was the promoter of the respective fed.
asside form wrestling in the ring you name it i probably had to do it at one point or another when it comes to events and there respective things that had to be done to get the event to be as smooth as it could.

Hi there my name is Brian. I currently reside in Daytona Beach Florida. I am looking at starting a Lucha based show in FL, and a couple of old school type shows in Georgia and Alabama. I am looking for people in those areas or who wouldn't mind long trips to get exposure. The Alabama trips will be carpooled probably from Atlanta, so any WA-4 guys that want a look let me know.

Hi my name's Geoff and I'm in New Zealand. I got into wrestling through a friend and pro-wrestled for about 6 years in the big city for our countries largest fed. Followed some good advice and cross trained in Kung Fu, KFM and Freestyle wrestling too. My friend asked me because I've trained in stunt work and worked film/tv for years. Turns out the skills are very compatible. Then I moved to a little town in the South Island and was surprised when fans tracked me down and asked me to teach them. So I've started my own development school for the big fed I used to wrestle in. Two of my students have since debuted and I'm really happy with how well they did. We have major plans. We want to go from being a school to a promotion. And we've got no shortage of desire. I'm here because we do need help. And finding a large group of people all doing the same thing has got to be good.

Hello all,
My name Nicholas and I am from Minnesota. I have been a wrestling fan for 14 years, but only indy wrestling for 7. I have wanted to get into training and have trained a little every now and then, when someone offers free training. I also have aspirations of opening a promotion, but with several promotions in Minnesota, it is hard to find a niche in the MN wrestling scene. I love that there is a website where i can get help with others who have the same ambition.

Greetings all!
My name is AC Knight and I have been wrestling off and on for the last 8 years or so. I have held numerous titles, and lost numerous titles. I have run consistently with IPW out of Muncie, IN. I have taken some time off to heel, and set somethings straight. I am finally able to start getting back into it all and I am looking forward to taking some bumps in the future.

Well I am glad to see that is site is still operational. Its great to see that message boards are still apart of the internet culture where we can meet and speak about anything. I have been touring for awhile wrestling all over the place so it's been awhile since I have posted something. I am now in CT working for a pro wrestling ministry called Genesis Pro Wrestling. Spread the word of God with Pro Wrestling.

Well we run shows the way a secular group would run a show but with a few differences. It doesnt matter who wins or loses per say. We are trying to bring back family enterainment back into the sport. Without all of the cussing, extremeties such as juicing and scantily clad women and so on and so forth. Atleast thats with our group. We also bring a biblical message. We want the fans to bring a 5 yr old as well as their grandmothers. I cannot speak for all groups on the exact format but I can assure you that all groups are in it to bring the message of God in the shows. Remember even in secular non religious shows you have as someone stated the eternal fight between good and evil. brothers vs brothers so on and so forth. One thing I do know is that not everyone in our group is a Christian and we take the opportunity to witness to them. The main faces that we promote whether heel or face are the Christian brothers and sisters. But we give ample opportunity to the non christians. If you put on a great show regardless if its religious or not you are sure to draw and give plenty of work to the local indy workers.

Hi, My name is Chad "The Bad" Case. I've been in Indy wrestling since 2007, still green. Will be until I die. I recieved most of my training "on the gun" or in ring (filling in on gimmick matches, battle royals, getting jobbed, dark matches, etc.) I have ran a couple shows with a former friend, those shows done really well. The problem is, with my location, finding a building to run again in. And well of course the funding to get started. I am also looking for bookings in the north Ga area. Message me if interested, or by email: chad_thebad_case@yahoo.com And as ALWAYS, feel free to ask any questions! -Chad Attachments:
